In the article "Using Ipads before bed can lead to poo nights of sleep," Stephan Adams explains explains that using Ipads or Samsung's Galaxy Note can lead to poor nights of sleep according to research. People use their phones or tablets to surf the web, go on Facebook or email before going to sleep. But whats causing them from a good night rest is the light thats coming from there screens. The light thats coming from their screen acts as if its daylight. So it convince the brain that its still daytime. Any time of light can make it hard to go to sleep, but a light of a shorter wavelength can suppress nocturnal melatonin. The brighter the light is and the longer the exposure is, the more hard it is to fall asleep. Cell phones and tablets are portable so people take them into the bedroom. They also tend to hold the cell phones or tablet closer to their eyes than a big screen such as a computer or television. Researchers from the Lighting Research Center are saying that if you look at a tablet screen for more than two hours " it leads to a suppression of our natural melation levels as the devices emit optical radiation at short wavelenghts." "Although turning off devices at night is the ultimate solution, it is recommended that if these devices are used at night displays are dimmed as much as possible and that the time spent on them before bed should be limited." Also disruption of sleep patterns can lead to an risk of obesity and breast cancer. I think that its bad for your eyes and it can disrupt your sleep. You cant get a good night rest and in the morning you end up tired.

"Poo nights of sleep?" You've done some good work summarizing and including details from the article, but you don't have enough of your own opinions and commentary. See parts 3 and 4 of the blog post format for examples of what I am looking for. 70
